| General Medical (GMO):-
(i) A candidate must possess an MBBS degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Indian university approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the National Medical Commission (NMC), as specified under the Bihar and Odisha Medical Act, 1916.
If the degree is obtained from a foreign university, the candidate must have completed a 4-year MBBS course along with a 1-year internship. The candidate must also pass the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) conducted by MCI. The degree will be considered valid for regular medical service posts only if recognized by MCI.
(ii) Training and Registration: The candidate must have completed a 12-month compulsory rotating internship from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India and the government. It is mandatory to have a permanent registration with the Medical Council, irrespective of the reason.

| IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS : |
1. उम्मीदवारों को आवेदन में सभी सूचनाएं सटीक भरनी हैं और सबमिट करने से पहले भलीभांति जांच लें, क्योंकि आवदेन सबमिट करने के बाद कोई बदलाव नहीं किया जा सकता।
2. उम्मीदवारों से अनुरोध है कि वह भुगतान करने के दिशानिर्देशों को भलीभांति पढ़ लें और भुगतान का स्क्रीनशॉट ले लें।
3. आयोग द्वारा Matriculation या समतुल्य प्रमाण-पत्र में अंकित उम्मीदवार की जन्मतिथि मान्य की जायेगी
4. सामान्य प्रशासन विभाग के संकल्प सं०-962, दिनांक-22.01.2021 के आलोक में दिव्यांगों को अधिकतम उम्र सीमा में 10 वर्षों की छूट अनुमान्य है।
5. सामान्य प्रशासन विभाग, बिहार सरकार के 2342, दिनांक-15.02.2016 के आलोक में महिलाओं को रिक्ति की उपलब्धता की स्थिति में नियमानुसार 35% क्षैतिज आरक्षण देय होगा।
6. आयोग सभी अभ्यर्थियों के लिए Computer Based Test के माध्यम से लिखित प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा आयोजित करेगा
7. प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा के प्रश्न-पत्र में कुल 100 प्रश्न होंगे, सभी प्रश्न बहुविकल्पीय वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकृति के होंगे। प्रश्न-पत्र हिन्दी एवं अंग्रेजी दोनों भाषा में होंगे।
8. प्रत्येक सही उत्तर के लिए 4 अंक मिलेंगे, लेकिन गलत उत्तर देने पर 1 अंक काट लिया जाएगा
