Exam day checklist: what to carry to the exam centre
Published on 1 min read
Most exam centres have strict entry rules. Read your admit card instructions carefully, and use this checklist the night before the exam.
Before applying, keep these ready as soft copies (scans or clear photos):
- Printed admit card (clearly readable)
- Original photo ID proof
- Passport size photograph, if the admit card asks for it
- Pen or other items only if the instructions allow them
- Water in a transparent bottle, if allowed
The day before
- Visit or locate the exam centre so you know the route and travel time.
- Keep your documents in one folder.
- Sleep early and eat well.
Do not carry anything the instructions say is not allowed, such as phones, watches or notes.
Dates, fees and eligibility change from year to year. Always read the latest official notification before you apply, and keep a copy of your confirmation page.
