Medical counselling registration (MCC): steps and documents

Published on 1 min read

After the entrance result, seats are allotted through counselling. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) runs the national rounds. Registering correctly and keeping your documents ready saves you from last-minute stress.

The usual steps

  • Register on the counselling website and pay the registration fee.
  • Fill in your details and upload the required documents.
  • Choose and lock your choices within the given dates.
  • Check the allotment result and report to the college on time with original documents.

Before applying, keep these ready as soft copies (scans or clear photos):

  • Admit card and scorecard
  • Passport size photographs
  • Class 10 and Class 12 certificates and marksheets
  • Degree and marksheets
  • Category or PwD certificate (if applicable)
  • ID proof
  • Domicile certificate (if applicable)

Dates, fees and eligibility change from year to year. Always read the latest official notification before you apply, and keep a copy of your confirmation page.
