 Education Qualification : 
General Medical (GMO):-

 (i) A candidate must possess an MBBS degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Indian university approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the National Medical Commission (NMC), as specified under the Bihar and Odisha Medical Act, 1916.

If the degree is obtained from a foreign university, the candidate must have completed a 4-year MBBS course along with a 1-year internship. The candidate must also pass the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) conducted by MCI. The degree will be considered valid for regular medical service posts only if recognized by MCI.

(ii) Training and Registration: The candidate must have completed a 12-month compulsory rotating internship from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India and the government. It is mandatory to have a permanent registration with the Medical Council, irrespective of the reason.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Print downloaded Admit card on an A4 size paper using a laser printer. Admit Card will be valid only if the candidate’s photograph and signature images are legibly printed. Under no circumstances admission at the examination centre will be allowed without the Admit Card.
2. Printed ADMIT CARD of BTSC Patna and only Black Ball Pen (ALL CANDIDATES. No Exceptions) No material/paper including the envelope of the Admit Card is allowed in the Examination Hall.
3. Original Photo ID card issued by the Competent Govt. Authority such as: Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Driving License/Bank Passbook/Elector’s Photo ID Card (EPIC)/Passport containing photograph of candidate. No photocopies/Scanned copy will be accepted.
4.Candidate must bring his/her two passport size colored photographs not older than two months and affix on the desired location on the admit card and signed at provided area in presence of the invigilator at the time of exam.
5. Please note that no arrangement would be provided for the safe custody of Mobiles, Bags etc. at the center. Examination center is not responsible for safe keeping of your belongings at the center.
6. Rough sheets will be provided for calculation which must be returned after the test. Candidate must clearly write his/her name and Roll No. on each rough sheet.
7. Please retain this admit card carefully for future records as the same is required to be produced at the time of Document Verification & Joining formalities of documents.
8. There will be negative marking of 1 marks for each wrong answer and For Each correct answer 04 marks will be awarded.

5. Original Matriculation Certificate
6. Marksheets and original certificates of all years of MBBS or Provisional certificate from a recognized institute
7. Registration Certificate of Permanent Registration from National Medical Commission or State Medical Registration Council (with entry of all educational qualifications)
8. Original certificate of internship training / experience in a recognized hospital / institute
9. Caste certificate/Creamy layer free certificate/Economically weaker section certificate
